Ecosystem Database (EcoDB) was developed to provide numerical data of gas fluxes and micrometeorology observed in various terrestrial ecosystems such as agricultural fields, wetlands and grasslands. These data can be used to investigate interactions between terrestrial ecosystem and the atmosphere, to test and calibrate ecosystem models, and to provide validation data to remote sensing studies. |

The data in EcoDB were obtained by short-term field campaign or long-term monitoring made by National Institute for Agro-Environmental Sciences (NIAES), Japan in collaboration with domestic/foreign universities and research institutes. EcoDB also provides graphs for quick look of the numerical data and numerous pictures showing details of the study sites. Users can download numerical data from EcoDB after registration. EcoDB uses local standard time at each observation site. |
